XYTECH SYSTEMS LAUNCHES LATEST MEDIAPULSE™ AT IBC2009

Burbank, CA/London UK, September 11, 2009 - Xytech Systems Corporation – the leading provider of media process management software for workflow management, resource scheduling, and media asset management – has announced that the latest version of its MediaPulse software will be unveiled at the IBC2009 conference in Amsterdam. The MediaPulse application suite enables end-to-end asset- and resource-based media workflows from initial request through delivery and billing. The next-generation platform leverages Xytech Systems' successful 20-year history of providing business workflow solutions to the media and entertainment industry.

MediaPulse’s next-generation platform helps streamline organizations by bringing sales, planning, operational, and financial departments together to work in a single system, reducing errors, decreasing cycle times, and providing transparency throughout the enterprise. The application suite supports the unique requirements of individual companies with a completely configurable user interface, language packs, extendable data schema, and Web service APIs, giving companies the ability to create custom solutions with out of the box software.

The IBC2009 release builds upon MediaPulse’s initial release with new features including library title hierarchy, raw stock support, enhanced scheduling tools, library proxy playback, and a robust Issue Management module for discrepancy reporting and QC management.

Xytech Systems also announced that MediaPulse’s Transmission Management Module will be released in the first quarter of 2010. The module addresses the needs of broadcasters, service providers, and teleports in the satellite and terrestrial video transmission industries with support for transponder engineering plans and technical specifications, transmission path management, and feed management. Greg Dolan, SVP of Xytech Systems stated, “Transmission Management is a natural extension for MediaPulse and speaks directly to our mission of helping clients through all phases of content creation and distribution. MediaPulse Transmission will offer a feature-rich, highly scalable, and affordable solution to the market.”

Richard Gallagher, CEO of Xytech Systems, commented "We are thrilled at the rapid market acceptance MediaPulse has gained.
