CREST DIGITAL SELECTS XYTECH EXPRESS SOFTWARE TO AUTOMATE ITS DVD PRODUCTION WORKFLOW

Burbank, CA/London UK, December 1 2008 - Xytech Systems Corporation, a leading provider of media business software and services for workflow management, resource scheduling, and media asset management, announced today that Crest Digital in Los Angeles, California is now live on Xytech Express software to streamline its workflow and media business operations.
 
Crest Digital is one of the world's leading media facilities with 45 years of experience providing DVD/CD, postproduction and digital asset management services to major film studios, software companies, record labels and industrial clients throughout the world. They have facilities in Hollywood and Anaheim, CA and a joint venture with China Film Group in China.
 
After an extensive search and review of available vendors and solutions, Crest Digital selected Xytech Express software to manage its DVD department's workflow and media operations. To achieve their goal of resource efficiency, Crest decided to operate in a paperless manner without printed work order forms. Instead, the DVD staff will utilize Xytech Express' Schedule Book for viewing their daily assignments. The Work Order Maintenance application's Attachments tab contains the detailed instructions and documents (Word or Excel) provided by the customer. As work is completed, the DVD staff utilizes the Actualize Work Order program from the Schedule Book to enter the hours worked and update the work order phase. Besides being ecological, this allows for easier communication of last minute changes to the schedule and orders.
 
The department head will utilize Xytech Express to monitor the progress of each job. Billing information, such as, customer-specific rates or flat bid allocations, automatically populate the transaction details of each work order based upon set up. This not only reduces waste, but it also accelerates the work order to invoice process.

Crest has identified the need for a system that offered a user-friendly scheduling interface in order to achieve the improvement to their operations. Xytech Express' customer, job, and work order structure makes it easy to manage workflow based upon the common disc image deliverables.
